Viability Erodes Before Performance
In some work environments, performance remains stable while sustainability declines. Output continues, expectations are met, and coordination appears intact even as strain accumulates beneath visible metrics.
Breakdown does not appear immediately.
When responsibility circulates without structural return, and evaluation replaces guidance, short-term continuity is preserved through adaptability. Performance persists while recovery windows narrow and integration is deferred.
Because visible results remain steady, early signals of erosion are often interpreted as manageable variance rather than as structural misalignment.
Over time, viability weakens before performance fails. When limits are eventually reached, disruption appears sudden despite having developed gradually.
